Well its already June!!!! Half of the year is already over and Christmas is just right around the corner! gasp! Here is my DT project for the piece by piece for June. I had so much fun creating the texture background. Wasn't really sure it was going to work...but so glad I took the risk and tried. I used a brick stencil and spackling compound instead of homemade texture paste. Surprisingly it works really well. I did add a layer of gesso and glue n' seal to make sure it will not come off. I am really liking this method! You can also check out my youtube video, charlenegibson to see a full description. I am also linking all the products I used under the pictures.  Have a happy day!
